Premium Website Design Services For Small Businesses

What goes into good website design? That’s a pretty tricky question, but the answer is: “It depends on the needs of each client”. At The Dibraco Agency, we know that each of our partners has different needs. Before we start making proposals for potential clients, we take the time to get to know their goals and current strategies. From there, we’ll take a look at the resources you have (not just in terms of your budget, though that it part of it) and we’ll make recommendations that make sense for your unique position.

We understand that start-ups and small businesses have a lot of different options for web design services. There are website builders, freelance developers, and other agencies. They all have their solutions, but are they taking the time to educate you? When you consult with our team, you’ll notice a few things that may be a little different. Ultimately, we want the chance to earn your business, but through the years, we’ve realized that you earn business by educating and empowering customers to make smart decisions, even if that means turning business down in the short term to do what’s right for you. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you, learn about your business, and educate you about different website design options.

Our Web Design Platform

At the Dibraco agency we know that there are many different web design platforms and content management systems (CMS). While we have the ability to use Drupal, Joomla, plain .php and html5, and Magento; in general we choose to work within the WordPress platform. Why?  The answer goes back to figuring out the best and most cost effective solutions to small businesses.

WordPress is the most used website design content management system with nearly 40% of the market share, according to builtwith.com What does this mean for your business? It means that there is more support for this platform than any of the others. Learning to use WordPress is easier than having to know code and finding internal resources to manage and maintain your website is easier than with some of the other CMS options.

Aside from just being easy to use, WordPress can be customized easily, can be great for search engine optimization (SEO), if done properly. It can also give small businesses the opportunity to migrate their website to a number of different service and hosting providers.  Many small businesses are attracted to website builders, like Wix or Go Daddy’s website builder. These drag and drop editors can make building an initial a breeze, but they are limited in their functionality and each add on winds up being more costly. Also, if you’re unhappy with the website builder, it can be hard to migrate away from those services.

Some agencies and freelancer designers choose to use static .php or html5, while these static code websites are quick to load (and also can be better for SEO), finding someone to maintain them can be incredibly hard and very costly. It’s also difficult to find outside companies or internal staff who are able or willing to take on updating unfamiliar code, even if they know the language.

What Can You Expect From Our Web Design Process?

When you partner with The Dibraco Agency, we already have an understanding of your business goals and the resources you have for a new web design. So when we create a proposal for you, we make sure it is tailored to you. We’ll use a development environment and an initial mock up, while it doesn’t happen often, if we’re completely off base with our mock up, we’ll listen to what you like and don’t like and come up with a second mock up. Because you are the expert in your brand, we do rely on you and your team for guidance so the second iteration will be closer to perfect. After seeing the first or second mock up, if there are small tweaks and changes, we’ll make those to get the site looking and functioning as desired.

While the website design and development are being completed, we’ll make sure any content we are writing is set up to make your website visible for relevant keyword searches on the major search engines. We’ll also set you up, if you aren’t already set up, with a Google account and Google analytics, so you can track your web traffic. Depending on the needs of your website, we may use plugins that incur a yearly fee, but we pass that cost directly on to you.

Once the website is designed and built, if we’re hosting it for you, we give you full access to your FTP, Cpanel, and the back end of your website. This allows you to make changes and updates to your website, but it also allows you to migrate the site if you ever need to change hosting. Unlike other solutions, this means that you own every aspect of your new website.
